Kimberly Lane Isenberg, 52, of Kingsport passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 1, 2014, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Kim was born on July 18, 1962 in Kingsport, Tennessee the daughter of George Lane and the late Patricia Gail Holtzclaw Lane. She drove a school bus for the Sullivan County School System for ten years helping transport many precious children at Colonial Heights Middle School and Miller Perry Elementary School on bus #475. She also worked as a bank teller with AmSouth Bank where she received the Teller Appreciation Award. Kim was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse and Kendrick Creek United Methodist Church. Kim was a very loving and giving person, loved cooking for others and entertaining. She was preceded in death by a very special son, William Casey Isenberg; her mother, Gail Lane; one sister, Angie Nickels and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-three years, Jack Isenberg; one daughter, Amber Fields and husband Gerald who was a very special son-in-law, and one very special grandson who was the joy of her heart, Liam Gavin Fields, of Gray, TN; her step mother, Donna Lane, of Kingsport, TN; her father, George Lane, of Blountville, TN; one sister, Lisa Gail Burke and husband Jeff who was a very special brother-in-law, and a very special niece Amanda Burke, of Fall Branch, TN; one brother-in-law, Bud Isenberg and wife Charlene, of Florida; three sister-in-laws, Linda Barham and husband Bob, of Jonesborough, TN., Betty Hill and husband Mike, of Kingsport, TN., and Beaty Lingerfelt and husband Tim, of Mt. Carmel, TN; two very special nieces, Abbi Stanley and Alana Stanley, along with several other nieces and nephews; special lifelong friends, Terri McInturff, Phyllis Faxon, Teresa Davenport and Donna Frazier; very special “Mom and Dad”, Jim and Patsy Copas, of Kingsport, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Kimberly Lane Isenberg will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Peters and Bro. Jonathan Lovelace officiating. Graveside service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Garden of Everlasting Life III at East Lawn Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest beside her Casey. Pallbearers will be Bud Isenberg, Jeff Burke, Tom Davenport, Trey Smotherman, Tyler Smotherman, and Brad Frazier. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Fields, Liam Fields, Mike Hale, Ed Young and Terri McInturff. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home Thursday at 12:45pm for those attending the graveside service.
