Judy Howell, 55, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Howell was a native of Fall Branch but had lived most of her life in the Kingsport area. She was the daughter of Alfred “Red” Burke and the late Erma Burke. Mrs. Howell was a member of The Washington Chapter of the Eastern Star, The Kingsport Liberty Chapter and The Social Order of the Beauceant. She loved her girls, and her family very much. Mrs. Howell was a member of Renaissance Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her father include her husband Mike Howell, daughters: Carol McAmis, Crissy Riner and husband Aaron, Cynthia Collins and Cayla Howell; brothers: Ronnie Burke and wife Val, her twin brother Jackie Burke and wife Joan, Jeff Burke and wife Lisa and Randy Burke and wife Stacy; sister, Paula Douglas and husband Wendell; grandchildren: Erika, Samantha, Lexxie, Carlie, Harley, Cameron, Dauson, Carrie Beth and Chloe; great grandchildren: Kahryssa and Alec, along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service for Judy Howell will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 7:00pm from The East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Stout officiating. An Eastern Star Service will follow. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1:00pm in East Lawn Memorial Park. Everyone is asked to assemble at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearer will be Wendell Douglas.
