Judy Matney went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Naomi Rotenberry of Bristol, VA.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Stephen (Steve) Matney; her daughter, Tammy Hurd and husband Eddie, of Kingsport; her son, James Kerby Fry; and grandson, Cody Charles.
She was a loving, caring person who was so full of life. Judy loved God and her family immensely and was loved by many. She was a retired Registered Nurse and was a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church in Gray, TN.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church in Gray. A celebration of Judy’s life will follow at 1:00pm at the church with Pastor John Herdman and Pastor Gene Lasley officiating.
Judy will be laid to rest at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at East Lawn Memorial Park.
