Jack C. Haynie, age 80, of Kingsport, TN went home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning (March 10, 2010) at his residence following a brief illness.
Born in Carthage, TN on November 7, 1929, a son of the late Xavier Beshaw and Ruth Inez Kemp Haynie, he has resided in this area for the last 45 years.
Jack Married Margaret Dougherty on July 15, 1950.
Mr. Haynie was a retired automobile and RV salesman.
He was a member of Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church where he held several offices.
Survivors include his wife of over 59 years, Margaret Dougherty Haynie of the home; his children, John Haynie and wife Judy of Church Hill, TN, Joe Haynie and wife Sherry of Church Hill, TN and Susan Doran and husband Brian of Mt. Carmel, TN; his grandchildren, Sara Campbell, Angie Davis and Evan Doran; his great-grandchildren, Brayden Campbell, Marshall Campbell, Bailey Campbell, Lilly Campbell and Chandler Dale.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday (March 12, 2010) at East Lawn Funeral Home.
Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel with Rev. Donna Hester officiating.
Burial will follow graveside services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (March 13, 2010) in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be John Haynie, Joe Haynie, Eric Davis, Brian Doran, Keith Campbell, Brayden Campbell and Marshall Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Dougherty and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
