Carol Marie Johnson

Carol Marie Johnson, 74, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2015, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was born on December 13, 1940 in Kincaid, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William Payne and Goldie Buford Payne. Mrs. Johnson was a very loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and was a member of Victory Bible Fellowship. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by one son, Steve Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Robert Leigh Johnson; two sons, Jeff Johnson, Sam Johnson and wife Tina; six grandchildren, Mandy Simerly, Ashley Pickel, Garet Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Rylee Johnson and Aaron Johnson; two great grandchildren, Journey and Steven; five sisters, Peggy, Nancy, Karen, Debbie and Susie; three brothers, Bill, David and Robert; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Carol Marie Johnson will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 1:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Baird officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
