Billy Pippin, age 42, of Kingsport, entered into rest on Monday, April 15, 2013. Mr. Pippin was a native of Valparaiso, Indiana, and moved to the Kingsport area in 1979. He was the son of Robert Pippin and Dottie Pippin. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Elaine Gray and paternal grandparents, Rex and Maxie Pippin. Billy had a huge passion for soccer; enjoyed animals and loved spending time with his children.
Survivors, other than his parents, include his son, Hunter Pippin; daughter, Libby Pippin; sister, Lisa Kodak and husband Jesse; two half-brothers: Bobby and Tim Pippin; three nephews: Cody, Michael and Brandon Fugate, and his cat, Shadow along with several cousins, aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service for Billy Pippin will be conducted on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
