William was born on March 20 1953 to Thomas Junious Norman & Ann Fuller Norman in Burlington, North Carolina. After graduating high school in North Carolina William joined the Army in which he would serve 20 years before retiring in Killeen Texas. He would then serve the United States Postal Service for an additional 17 years before retiring again. After retirement William would enjoy his time playing dominoes, shooting pool, traveling, and spending time with his wonderful family. Known by his friends as Big Will, and his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as Papa Will. William was a selfless individual whom always put his family first, and always kept his faith strong in the Lord. “Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world” is a scripture he would always tell us.
William was predeceased by his Mother Ann Fuller Norman, Father Thomas Junious Norman, Brothers Jimmy Ray Norman, Larry Thomas Norman & Ronald Warren, Sisters Doretha Walker & Lottie Mae Thompson, & Grandson Trenton Thomas Perry. He is survived by His loving spouse of 45 years Isolina Norman. His children Chris Shipman, Cortesa Andreske Myers, William Norman II, Tawana Butler, Thomas Norman, & Nicholas Norman. His Sisters Silvia Daye, Mary Holt, Linda Faye Torain, & Carolyn Warren. His Brother Terry Norman. Multiple Nieces & Nephews & Multiple Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. He will be truly missed, but he shall remain in our hearts forever.
