Thomas was married to his wonderful wife, Ruth Darlene, for 67 years. Together, they raised three children.
Thomas was a strong, moral, and private person who provided a firm, loving foundation to ensure the best growth opportunities for all who knew and loved him. He served in the US Army for 2 years and then worked at the glass company for 51 years before retiring. Although we will miss him, we look forward to the time when we all meet again.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Lucille, and his brother, Jake. He is survived by his siblings, Jessie Kay Cosper and Doyle Whitehead, his wife, Ruth Darlene, his children, Gary (married to Toni), Tony, and Roby, as well as his 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Thomas passed peacefully, with his family's love.
Visitation is at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home on November 25 from 6-8 pm and graveside services will be at 2 pm on November 26, 2024 at Maxdale Cemetery.
