Thomas Wright Barron

Thomas Wright Barron, 82, of Killeen, Texas passed away on July 22, 2017 after an extended battle with Parkinson's Disease. Tom was born in Waco,Texas on August 29,1934 to William L. Barron and Thelma Wright Barron. He graduated from Waco High School and attended Baylor University. Tom married Margaret Jackson on November 16,1961. Tom served in the army and in the army reserves. He was a true entrepreneur and Killeen businessman. He owned several businesses including Barron Rents, Killeen Rent-All, Killeen Camping Center, Mr. B's TV's and Barron Ornamental Iron and Signs. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret Barron and daughters Becky Connell, Lisa Barron Leethem and sons-in-law Kim Connell and John Leethem. Grandchildren Tiffany Turner, Courtney Connell, Thomas Leethem and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, William L.Barron, Jr. of Sugarland, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. The celebration of Tom's life will be Friday, July 28th at 10:00 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel, Killeen, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen, TX.
