Song N Metress

On the seventh month, nineteenth day, 1969, in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi, South Korea, Song was born to Lee, Byong In and Chang, Young Cha. She passed away on December 22, 2024, at her home in Killeen Texas.

Over their 33 years of marriage, Song and her husband Kevin lovingly raised their children: son Kelly (Angelica), Erica (Sloan), and Danielle.

For twenty years Song owned multiple dry cleaners in Killeen working as a seamstress.

During her off time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, Korean Trot music and volunteering. She was also a valued member of the local Korean Christian community spending much time at church. Known for her kindness, generosity, and humor, she has left a lasting impression on friends and family alike. Song leaves behind a multitude of family and friends to cherish her memory.

Song loved her family above all else, considering it the most beloved and proudest achievement of her life.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood St., Killeen, TX, 76542. A committal will follow at 3:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
