Rodney Lamont Anderson

He passed away in Killeen, Texas on January 23, 2023 at the age of 51.

Rodney enjoyed cooking and was widely known as "Chef." His favorite thing to cook was anything creole. His favorite saying was, "If you can kill it, I can grill it." He also was known for being a karaoke DJ. You can find him playing his favorite music at the Shadow Lounge. He also was known for being an avid fisherman.

Rodney met the love of his life in Killeen, Texas and were married on October 12, 2013. They were together for a total of 22 years before his passing. You can often find them doing many things together and if you see one, you definitely will see the other.

Left to cherish Rodney's memory are his wife, Heidi Anderson; children, Sirohne and Candace; brother, Justin; mother and father, Roy and Mary; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he considered as family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers and grandfathers.

A visitation for Rodney will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S.Ft Hood Street, Killeen, TX. Following the visitation will be a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen, TX.
