My Nana was the most coolest grandma anyone could ask for. She was the best person to talk to in any situation. I miss her everyday. Please come to me so I know you are okay. If I could have one wish come true it would be to see you just one more time. Always & forever thinking of you, just smile back.

I miss you so much our  long talks and our shopping. We always had fun picking out a resturant  for the week,getting lost and just going with it. Not much fun any more with you.

Nancy was/is a colorful artist; I'm sure she is making the place/space more lovely, wherever. Appreciate all the handmade gifts in my personal favorite(s)(colors)as well as "words to lighten, brighten " our paths in a world needing same. Always. OX, Josie H.

I loved the time I could spend with Nanna and that she was so nice to everyone she associated with. I remembering waking up super early and having like a two hour talk with her before anyone else even got up. And I must say Nanna was very interesting to talk to, she definitely made the conversation very fun and unique. Anyway in the long run she was a really awesome person that lived a great life. Also she must have done something right because I'm here today ! Rest in peace Nanna

Today's your day, and I'm thinking of you.  We were supposed to have years to reminisce about our family adventures.  Thanks for raising the girls and making Kayla a quilt, which Kat just had redone so that it will last for many more years.  I'm glad that you and Kat and Kayla had fun in June.  Say hello to my honey.  Maybe you can play a game of cards together, but watch out, he cheats.  All my love and thanks for all of the memories and good times.

Nancy,  Your Gleaner Sisters will be gathering on Friday to give you a 'proper' send-off.  We will miss the laughter you brought to the class every Sunday morning.  We always hurried to close the door so you could make your 'grand entrance'.  We'll always remember your colorful jewelry and toenails that were most often painted green!  We know you are now one of our guardian angels resting in the arms of God.  We will expect the 'grand tour' when God calls us home to join you and our other Sisters. The moment we take our last breath, we become a memory and you've left us with wonderful memories.  I was honored to be your Sunday School teacher and offer these comments on behalf of your class at Skyline Baptist Church. Thank you for reminding us often that we're the only Bible some people will ever read!  Thank you for keeping us on our toes!

I know you are following the path god laid for you.i know you could not stay another day but i will miss your laughter, friendship ,and support.. Your memory is locked in my heart forever.

My Dear Sweet Aunt Nancy, you are Mom's best friend and cousin.  You too were so close we all called you and Rudy Aunt and Uncle.  All my life Mom told me I was just like "Nancy"  I never knew that until I finally met you.  There is no one I would rather be compared to than you.  I have often gone into my Strawberry Patch with chocolate daisies and pink turtles when things got bad, and have carried tattoos with me from time to time because you kept plastering them on me.  I have put them in storage, but now I need to get them out again for you.  When things were bad you would say, fare is only for pigs and blue ribbons.  How right you were.  I thank GOD that I am like you.

I can't be there, Mom, Dad and Ashlea are coming.  I will truly miss you and your posts.

My mom was a colorful, awesome, one of a kind woman.  Her grandchildren were her shining stars.  She breathed every breath for them.  She will always be the #1  Nana.

Nancy, when you married my father you blessed our family and for that I will be eternally grateful. You opened your heart to all of us and took the time to share your love with each one of us. I will miss calling the house and hearing you say hello and me asking how you are doing. You would always say, “Better now dear.” I will also miss you calling me on my birthday and singing Happy Birthday in full verse.  We shared many of the same interests, like our passion for the WEB Griffin books. We would talk about the characters for hours. You were both beautiful and brilliant. I remember when I would come home on the weekends to visit from college you always made sure I had a full belly and a full tank of gas and send me off with some groceries. You knew how to make the best turkey and stuffing and killer hard boiled eggs. I remember how you would cook Thanksgiving dinner for the whole gang. I think of you and I think of cheerful colors of yellow and turquoise, of sunflowers, and the Arizona desert with the brilliant sunset. All beautiful things.  The quilts you made each one of us are priceless. We always get them out every Fall and think of the hours and hours of love that went into each one. When we would get them out when the kids were little we would say, "Nana's hugs" as we tucked them in. Thank you for that gift of having a piece of you with us as now we will feel your hugs from heaven above. Mostly, thank you for loving my father and being his companion, his partner in crime, his best friend and his soul mate. You were the peace maker in the family. The glue that kept us together. May each one of us draw closer together to celebrate your life and your love. This is your legacy....your family. I love you Mom, your son JR.

Hey Nana, I'll never forget our vacation to Texas last year, thanks to you I have so many great memories! You let me pick out any jewelry I wanted and I always knew that you had love in your heart when you called me names like precious and my dear. Rest up well Nana, I can't wait to see you in the future!

Nancy knew nothing but to show love for everyone around her. If you needed a mom, she was there; if you needed a friend, she was there. She never forgot her gigantic family and knew and loved all of use in her own way. She was just plain awesome and we loved her very much and I'm glad I was a part of her life as long as I was.

To the love of my life, my partner and my "little girl". I miss you so much.. Please come to me in my dreams and let me know you were there. You and I did everything together. Now there is only one of me.

Nancy was a great storyteller and boy did she have a way with words! I am so grateful that she took the time to write down her family history and stories and give them as a gift one Christmas.  I enjoy looking through the album at all the pictures and reading the stories of her family history.  I'm also thankful that she entrusted us with the family bible. We will care for it and pray from it as you and your family did for years and years.  We love all the quilts and blankets you have made us over the years.  Those quilts will be a symbol of your love. Every time we wrap ourselves in them it will fill our hearts with love and warm our bodies and soul. The biggest and best gift you gave me was your son.  For this I thank you from the bottom of my heart for he is and always will be the love of my life! Rest in Peace Nancy for you will be missed.  We love you!

Nancy was such a wonderful Mother in Law to me. I first met Nancy in 1989 when my husand brought me home to meet his family. It was my brithday and she surpirsed me with a wonderful cake. We had so much fun throughout the years. We played hours of cards, laughing and giggling (over Rudy Sr and Rudy Jr) She loved babies, flowers, animals and her silly tattoos.  She loved yard sales, cookbooks, antiques and making her quilts.She was both beautiful and intelligent.She loved doing for others and making them smile. She loved her family and it showed. Most importantly, I know Nancy loved the Lord! She touched the lives of so many people and we will miss her deeply. Nancy, I know you are in heaven now and have been celebrating, walking hand in hand with precious Jesus. We celebrate you Nancy Norman and we miss you deeply. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of my life. I love you!
