Lorenzo F .Carrillo, Jr. was born in Junction, Texas on September 30, 1961 to Lorenzo and Elvira Carrillo. Mrs. Elvira went into glory shortly after his birth. Lorenzo attended school in Rock Springs, Texas. Upon graduation, he held several jobs but none as fulfilling as the one job serving in the U.S. Army for 23 years. While serving his country, he traveled to Germany, Korea, Guatemala, Saudi Arabia to Kuwait, served stateside and retired at Ft. Lee, Virginia. He returned to his home state of Texas and worked on Ft. Hood providing security for, as Lorenzo said, “My Soldiers”.
Celebrating his life now and always are his wife, Mrs. AnaLuisa Carrillo, his mother, Figure, Mrs. Julia Rodriguez and Omar, Sr., Tia Maria Flores, brothers Amador, Pantaleon Carrillo and Omar Rodriguez; sisters Elsa Carrillo, Lisa Carrillo and Maryanne Rodriguez; his son Felix Manuel, daughters Yasmeen and Loriesa Carrillo; children brought into the marriage M. Elizabeth, Bryan and Christina; 9 grandchildren and 1 grandchild who is an Angel in heaven; his family, his soldiers, VFW 3892 comrades, LULAC family, co-workers and friends.
