Julius Warren (JW) Moore departed this life on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the age of 67 at Scott & White hospital in Temple, TX. JW was born on June 1, 1950 in Tappahannock, VA to Martha E. Moore and the late Alfred W. Moore.
JW was a resident of Killeen for 46 years. He was a thoughtful and gracious neighbor and friend. He had daily conversations with friends and family and you could always count on him to visit and tell a joke or two to brighten up your day. JW never met a stranger, no matter where he went his friendly disposition always made those around him smile and laugh. There was always a story or a joke to tell that would brighten the gloomiest of days.
In remembering JW, all who knew him would say that most of all he was a compassionate and loving son and brother and a devoted, proud, and caring father to his daughter, Nicole, and grandchildren and a true friend.
JW was the eldest of six. He was preceded in death by; his father Alfred W. Moore, his sister; Linda Moore-Robinson and two brothers; Prince Alfred and Nathaniel Wayne Moore.
JW leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Nicole (Terrance) Goldsmith of San Antonio, TX and three grandchildren; mother, Martha E. Moore of Killeen, TX; sisters, Martha A. Paris (Jerry), of Georgetown, TX and Diana E. Moore of Killeen, TX; three nieces; Shirrena E. Perkins of Costa Mesa, CA and Natasha E. Kyles of Long Beach, CA, Natasha McGee of Glen Bernie MD and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Julius Warren (JW) Moore will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Beulah Baptist Church Tappahannock/Minor, VA. Services will be conducted by Rev Floyd Johnson, interment will be held in the church cemetery.
