Elizabeth Logan

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 9:30 AM, Killeen, Texas. A burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas.

Elizabeth was born May 27, 1936 in Hidas, Hungary to Henry and Elizabeth Helfenbein on May 27, 1936. Elizabeth and her family fled Hungary during the Russian Invasion and were eventually resettled from a British displaced person camp in Austria to Ulm, Germany. She married Douglas Leon Logan on May 7, 1956 in Ulm, Germany.

Elizabeth Logan was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Henry Helfenbein of Chicago, Illinois, as well as her brother, Henry Helfenbein of Barrington, Illinois and her grandson, Nathan Pratt of The Woodlands, Texas.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Douglas Logan, her children, Bobbie Pratt and husband Jospeh Pratt, Terrie Jerosch and husband Hans Jerosch, grandchildren, Joey Zachary, James Pratt, Leeza Pratt, Julianna Stohs, Alex Jerosch, William Jerosch, David Jerosch and great-grandson Cal Zachary.

Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army. The family of Elizabeth Logan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Amada Senior Care, Campassus Hospice Care and family and friends who helped us in her final days.
