Delbert was born on November 24th, 1959, in Sterling Colorado to G. Buell and Doris Mock. He spent a good portion of his youth in Ogallala, Nebraska. In college he moved to Fresno, California to attend Fresno State University. He met his wife, Terri Mock, while attending the college and was introduced to Harvard Terrace Baptist Church where he would become a youth and music minister. He had several jobs over his life that supported his passion for working in the ministry. He was a youth and music minister for 20 years before retiring as a computer technician and teacher. His heart and passion for the ministry continued afterwards in his community outreaches on Halloween and Christmas. He moved, along with his wife, to Killeen, Texas to be closer to both of his children. He continued his work in the ministry supporting his son working as a youth minister. His love of Christ and technology allowed him to reach out to a great many people and always his focus was on helping others around him. Although he will be sorely missed by friends and family, they look forward to reuniting in Heaven with him.
He is survived by his mother, wife, two children, Ilyssa Mammino and Chris Mock, and four grandchildren, Danielle, Breanna, Hannah and Scott.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.crawfordbowersfuneralhome.com for the Mock family.
