Bonnie truly rejoiced in fellowship with friends and family at church while teaching Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. She received many awards of which she was very proud.
Bonnie felt called by the Lord to play piano and sing the Lord's praises for over 30 years for the Trimmier Baptist Church and Cedar Knob Church, both of Killeen, before moving to Claremont Assisted Living of Marble Falls in 2003, later moving to Kingsland Hills Care Center in 2011 where she continued to play for visiting churches.
She married her husband, Tom McCasland in 1939. They raised 3 boys together. Along with serving her church, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and numerous other crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas McCasland; 2 brothers- L.V. (Pete) Perryman, Billy Jack Perryman; and sister Juanita Jo Perry.
She is survived by 3 sons: Wayne McCasland and wife Angie of Marble Falls, Gary McCasland and wife Lynnette of Marble Falls, Ray McCasland of Buchanan Dam; sister-in-law, Brenda Perryman: 3 grandchildren: Kim Van Pelt, Andrea McCasland, Rod McCasland; 5 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Cody, Kylee, Madison, and Bobby; and 1 great-grandchild, Scarlett, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2016 also at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.
