Grandma and Aunt Ann, but however she was called, she always answered. If you were family or friend, you knew she had your back. Though small in stature, her heart was as big and wide as the Grand Canyon.
Born November 8,1928 to Joseph and Rosina DeAndressi, Angela was the youngest daughter in a large, close-knit family. From the stories she’d tell of her youth, she didn’t need friends; she had her seven sisters and brothers. But, even with her large Italian family, she did have many friends, making them wherever she went: Louisiana, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas.
She had many hobbies and interests, cooking and gardening among them, and there was, seemingly, nothing she could not do. She loved to sing and was often be found singing in the kitchen as she cooked. She was never happier than when she had a crowd around, and she could feed them. Mothering was in her blood, and she could always be heard saying that the best part of her life was as a mother.
