Terry Ray Gliddy, a member of Wunnumin Lake First Nation, resident of Keewatin, Ontario passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora, Ontario.
Terry was predeceased by his parents Tommy and Jeannie Victoria Gliddy (Nee Beardy), sister Christine Gliddy and his grandparents Jake Beardy and Joseph and Mary Gliddy.
Terry is survived by his grandmother Mary Beardy of Kingfisher First Nation, his brothers Vince Beaver and Joseph Gliddy of Thunder Bay, Ontario, his sister Delilah Ostamus of Kingfisher First Nation, and Thea Gliddy of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He will be greatly missed by his compassionate attendant Grant Vanasse (Life Sharer) and the KACL family in Kenora, Ontario.
Terry’s smile and energy brought great healing to all the people he had contact with in his life.
A viewing and service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Kenora, Ontario with Pastor Frank Kowal officiating. There will also be a service held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1:30 pm at St. James Anglican Church in Wunnimun Lake First Nation will be officiated by Rev. Joey Bluecoat or Annie Comarty with burial to follow.

The family would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors from the ICU at Lake of the Woods District Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Terry in his final days.
