There are many family & friends who loved and adored Taylor and who Taylor held close to her heart as well. There are too many to mention.
Taylor had a very bright and vibrant personality. She was always laughing and joking around, her smile was so contagious and would light up the whole room. She had a way that made everyone feel comfortable when she was around them, she was always very friendly and kind. Taylor was very loyal and trustworthy, she went on memorable adventures and made many great memories with everyone she crossed paths with, especially her close friends Avery, Kaya & Candy.
Taylor had a passion for children. Although she didn’t get to experience being a mother, she loved everyone’s babies like they were her own. She worked at the Daycare and the young ones just adored her. She had a natural gift when it came to children.
Taylor never hesitated to get involved with community events. She would always be found helping with tasks and assisting with the organizing of activities. She enjoyed participating in the local volleyball nights, she had a wicked serve and had the height to deliver that powerful spike. She also enjoyed playing soccer and baseball.
Every fall you can find her helping the Elders with the local Fall Harvest. She would be out in the cold, wet weather doing what she loved. She would be filleting fish, harvesting the wild game and preparing food for the guests and students. No matter what she was doing, no matter how the weather was she would always make everyone happy just by her beautiful presence.
Taylor comes from a huge family. A family where our cousins are like siblings, where we have tons and tons of aunties, uncles, kokum’s and papas. Taylor valued her family. She took great pride watching her little sister grow up into a beautiful young Anishinaabe’kwe. She was very fortunate to be raised in such a diverse family setting. She learnt the Christian faith along with the traditional culture. Taylor had the upmost respect for everyone around her. Her heart was one of a kind, her unconditional love was something we will forever remember. She would always put herself before others, that’s the Taylor we will keep in our hearts. We will all love and miss her dearly.
