Memorial Service Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, Sharron. She entered Heaven's gates at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 peacefully and with family by her side.
Her strong will and resolve were well known. She was born May 29, 1943 in Rainy River, Ontario. She grew up in Morson and Minahico, Ontario. While working at Buena Vista Resort she met a young police officer, Royden, who became the love of her life. They married on October 29, 1964. Together, they shared their lives in Emo, Hudson, Sioux Lookout and Kenora. She loved to spend time on Lac Seul and Lake of the Woods. She loved nothing more than to outfish Royden. She was always very proud of the two wonderful sons her and Royden raised. She enjoyed making crafts, getting together with friends and cooking for everyone.
She is survived by her mother Millie, sons Dean and Rob, daughters-in-law Cathy and Caroline, grandchildren Mitchell, Ally, Brianna and Mikayla, sister Diane (Terry), nephews Sean (Jennifer) and Jay and their mother Bernice (Dale), and brother-in-law Robert (Yvan).
She was predeceased by her father William, brother Cliff, in-laws William and Helena, brother-in-law Weldon (Doris) and nephew Bartley.
A Memorial Service will be held at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. At Sharron’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family interment at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.

When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not here to see…
If the sun would rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today…
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you…
And each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand…
That Jesus came and called my name and took me by the hand.
And said my place was ready in heaven far above…
And that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart…
For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.
