Richard Anthony Roach
Rick was suddenly taken from us to follow the path our Lord has chosen for him.
He was born on December 20, 1954 in Kenora, Ontario and passing in Sioux Narrows,
Ontario on February 07, 2015 at the age of 60 (years old).
Rick was predeceased by his parents Laurence Augustine and Agnes Mary Roach, his grandparents
Ann and Frank Miclash, Maurice and LaVirgia Roach and his niece Ayden Roach.
Rick will be lovingly remembered by his children, Danielle and Joey, sister Shannon (Dinis) Rodrigues,
brother Robert (Marie Valen) Roach, grandchildren Trinity and Jesse, nephews and nieces Sean Roach,
Josh, Scott, Lucas, Morgan and Rhyan Roach and numerous cousins. He will be sadly missed by others
that have had a special bond in his life, Elaine Chadney and her daughters Faye, Tammy and April, as well as Alison Kolisnyk.
Rick was a private, quiet, gentle, caring and a spiritual man, always seen with a smile, an avid outdoorsman since childhood.
His pleasures in life were spending quality time with his nephew Sean, working with anything that had
a motor, playing his guitar, fishing and hunting. Rick enjoyed socializing with his co-workers and friends
at Totem Lodge in Sioux narrows where he worked and resided and you may also remember him from
Nestor Falls Marina, Minaki Marina, Pat’s Outboard, Godbouts as well as various jobs in the area.
Rick attended Mount Carmel, St. Thomas Aquinas, Beaver Brae then Sault Ste. Marie to
obtain his small engine mechanic certificate. Throughout his career he upgraded on numerous courses to better his profession.
Rick will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Service will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
Celebration of Life will be held at Totem Lodge on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:30 a.m.
