Jefferson Assin-Shingebis was born on March 29, 2003 in Kenora, Ontario and passed away on December 7, 2024 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre with both parents, brother and sisters by his side.
Jefferson will be sadly missed by his longtime caregiver whom he called grandma Linda Wickman.
Jefferson was a kind, humble, gentle soul that helped anyone wherever and whenever he could.
Jefferson will be missed by many, his aunties Regan and her children, Loretta and her children, Glenna and her children and Mary and her children. His uncles Peter and his children and Lee. His great uncles and their families, he will also be missed by many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Jefferson loved and enjoyed many sports such as basketball, he really enjoyed fishing and playing Xbox with his brother Jarome.
Jefferson was predeceased by his grandparents Raymond, Donna, Debra, Peter, Bernard and Dorothy.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Kenora, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:00am at Church of Jubilee, 215 First St S, Kenora, Ontario with interment to follow Lake of the Woods Cemetery, Kenora, Ontario.
