Zachary "Zach" Michael Lambright

Zachary "Zach" Michael Lambright, age 31, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. Zach was born December 8, 1989 in Marietta, Georgia to Rick and Joanna Lambright. As a child, Zach was very social, always outside playing with friends and his sister. During his youth, Zach was introduced to soccer by his school friends turned lifelong friends Nick and Ben Burton. His God Father, Andy Burton, mentored him during Zach’s time playing in a competitive youth soccer league. He always reflected on these lifelong friendships and how much fun he had.

Growing up, Zach’s dad began doing indoor pyrotechnics for the Atlanta Thrashers and Atlanta Hawks. Zach spent many of nights with his dad at the arena not only enjoying watching the games but learning the pyrotechnic business. One of Zach’s fondest memories happened during this time he spent with his dad at Phillips Arena (State Farm Arena) As Zach and his dad were leaving the arena, his favorite NBA player, the late Kobe Bryant, was walking to the team bus and he noticed Zach wearing his Laker Jersey. Zach yelled out “Great game Kobe!” and Kobe turned around; came back to Zach and signed his jersey. To this day, Zach still has the jersey on display. He continued to work with his dad throughout his life branching out to execute special effect projects and commercial firework shows on his own.

In his free time, you would find Zach enjoying football Sundays letting everyone know that the 49ers were #1, spending quality time with his mom sharing a love of Mexican food, gardening, and shopping, and finding every opportunity to antagonize his sister (with much love of course).

Zach is survived by his loving parents, Rick and Joanna Lambright of Kennesaw, Georgia and sister, Nicole Lambright of Nashville, Tennessee; uncles, Andy Ulanowski, Jack E. Lambright, Jr (Sally) and Larry D. Lambright, Jeff Johnson (Sandy); his aunt Jill Buckingham (Terry); his godmother and aunt Barbara Ogonek; his godfather, Andrew Burton (Andrea); his maternal grandmother, Paulina Ulanowska; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Griffin; several cousins and many friends.

A visitation for Zach will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM in the chapel.
