Tina Ellis

She was born to Clarence Edward Wilson and Bernice Campbell Wilson on December 22, 1934 in Prattville, Alabama.

Tina was a sharp woman who never seemed to meet a stranger. She had her social media account on Facebook and had countless friends. She managed to win the hearts of once strangers who would send her letters and get well cards when she fell ill.

Tina had an appreciation for things both old and new. She was modern with her technological abilities, but also enjoyed antique shopping.

She walked strong in her faith with the Lord and enjoyed reading her bible, spending time with her family, and caring for her cats.

Tina’s memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Joe Ellis of Marietta; son, David Shirley of Acworth; daughter, Karin Darby of Jacksonville, Florida; stepsons, Richard Ellis of Chilhowie, Virginia and Ramon Inisin of Jacksonville, Florida; stepdaughter, Barbara Ellis of Neptune Beach, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly Jenkins, Brandon Shirley, Krista Sexton, Michael Darby, Keith Darby, Hailey Ellis of Jacksonville, Florida; and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the funeral home’s chapel with Rev. Robert Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw City Cemetery.
