Thomas Blaine Molloy

Thomas “Tom” Blaine Molloy, age 63, of Chamblee, Georgia passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022 in his home. He was the husband of Mercedes Molloy. They shared 38 happy years of marriage together, after dating for 10 years.

Tom was born to Jacqueline Molloy and the late Bill Molloy on September 16, 1958 in Elmhurst, New York, where he lived until moving to Marietta, Georgia in his adult years.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and drummer, Tom always brought joy to those in his presence. He had a larger-than-life personality, and never passed up an opportunity to crack a joke to make others smile. His warm, caring heart was undeniable and he had a gift for making everyone feel like a beloved old friend.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Bill Molloy, his brother, Jim Molloy, and his mother-in-law, Lirio Rodriguez.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Mercedes, his mother, Jacqueline Molloy, his children, Jackie (Dan) Ziznewski and Thomas Molloy, his brothers, Jack (Monica) and Bill Molloy, his granddaughter, Ava Ziznewski, and many extended family members and friends.

The Molloy family will receive friends on January 29, 2022 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 PM in the Chapel at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
