Marilyn "Mema" Jones Belcher

Marilyn “Mema” Jones Belcher, age 96, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born in Edison, GA on November 19, 1926, to the late David and Marilu Jones. Marilyn was a member of Burnt Hickory Baptist church for many years. She was a people-magnet who never met a person she could not love. Mema loved her family and God more than anything and devoted her life to being a good wife, friend, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and Christian. Marilyn will be missed by all that knew her.

Marilyn is survived by her son Rick Belcher (Marcia); and her daughter-in-law Vicki Belcher; her sister Becky Bialko, her grandchildren; Melissa McBrayer (Brad), Brad Belcher (Angela), Brett Belcher (Jackelyn), and Matthew Belcher (Kimberly), 10 great grandchildren (and counting) and many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years O. Earl Belcher; her son David E. Belcher; her brothers Bobby Jones and her Jimmy Jones.

A visitation for Mema will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. The service will occur Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. The burial will occur Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
