Leonard Anthony Budsock, age 66 of Kennesaw Georgia passed away on January 20, 2017. He was born in Washington D.C., the son of Leonard and Martha Budsock. He grew up in Annandale, Virginia and later attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia where he earned his B.S. in Sociology in 1973. Lenny later attended Life University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic. He made a career change later in life and graduated in 2004 with his B.S. in Nursing from Kennesaw State University. Until his passing, Lenny worked as a RN at Wellstar Kennestone Hosptial. He was beloved by his co-workers. Caring for his patients and their families was his passion.
Lenny met his soul mate, Colleen, while attending Virginia Tech and they were married January 27, 1973. They raised a son and celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Lenny’s personal passions were VT football, riding motorcycles, reading anything of history, hiking the trails at Kennesaw Mountain and our country’s National Parks, and also cooking a new recipe every Saturday evening with his sweetheart. His sense of adventure led him to run a marathon, summit Mt. Rainier in Washington State and parachute out of an airplane having never even flown before.
