Leonard Allan Bramson, age 75, affectionately known as “Lenny,” passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, near his home in Marietta, Georgia. Leonard was born February 8, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Norman and Dorothy (Unger) Bramson. A supporter and citizen of Israel, Leonard was proud of his Jewish faith and culture. Many will remember Leonard for his quick wit, sense of humor, and tall stature. He was an outgoing, charismatic man who drew people in with his big personality. Leonard was a graduate of Roosevelt University- Chicago and Western Michigan University. Leonard had the opportunity to travel all over the world during his career as an attorney and businessman and made fast friends wherever he found himself. Leonard enjoyed visiting the racetrack and wagering on horse races and even owned his own horses for many years. He was an avid, lifelong fan of baseball and hockey. Leonard was a lover of animals and took great joy in spending time with his pets. Most of all, he loved to be with his family. Leonard was a loving son, brother, father and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Leonard is survived by his three children: Amy (Mark) Minnie of Arizona, Harry Bramson of Georgia, and Lauren (Turner) Falk of Pennsylvania; his brothers Ronald Bramson DPM, and Carl Bramson, M.D. and his sister Phyllis (Dan) Marin; his two grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Susan Columbus and by his brother Martin Bramson.
