Jeffrey Allan Starkey

Being a native of Georgia, Jeff graduated from South Cobb High School and attended Southern Technical Institute. Shortly after some college, he joined the United States Navy and served as a nuclear tech and on a rescue submarine.

In 1998, he met Patricia Echavarry and on October 6 2001 they married. They spent the next eighteen years together before his unexpected passing. Jeff worked as a supervisor at Aqua Tech Plumbing since 1998. He enjoyed watching and playing all sports, especially the Falcons and Braves. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved being a husband and a father. Jeff was a very intelligent and quiet man and will be deeply missed by all.

Jeff is preceded in death by his brother, Eric Starkey.

Along with his parents and wife, he is survived by his son, Cory Mcglothin; daughters, Brynn Starkey, Ashley Starkey and Dana Mcglothin; brother, Andrew Starkey, and many loving friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at nine o’clock in the morning at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, September 8, 2019 between four o’clock and seven o’clock in the evening and one hour prior to the service.
