He was a native and lifelong resident of Cartersville and loved gardening and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dallas and Mildred Reagan and his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Ollie Thacker.
Survived by his wife, Lynn Thacker; parents, Harold and Lavern Thacker; daughters, Cammie Leighann Thacker and her fiancée, Cody, Kayla Elizabeth Thacker, Allyson Janie Estelle Thacker; step daughter, Danielle Jackson; brother, Harold T. Thacker and his wife, Lea, and most of all his dog and best friend, Bubba.
Memorial services will be held Saturday Sept. 27 at 2 Pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1105 Missions Road SW, Cartersville, GA 30120, with Rev. Darryl Tidwell officiating.
