James Edward Owenby, 82, of Kennesaw, passed away Tuesday November 15, 2011. Funeral service will be held Friday 1pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. David Huggins and Dr. Jim Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Greers Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Kennesaw.
Mr. Owenby had lived in Cobb County all his life and retired from Capital Cadillac after 30 plus years. He is survived by his wife Frances H. Owenby of Kennesaw; son, David Owenby of Kennesaw; grandsons, Michael Owenby and Christian Owenby; sisters, Carol Payne of Kennesaw, Ruth Payne of Kennesaw, and Barbara Flynn of South Carolina.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6pm until 9pm at the Funeral Home.
