Frances Durkit, age 85, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Frances was born December 10, 1934. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Frances enjoyed shopping, gardening, and cooking. She enjoyed going to church, helping her fellow man in anyway that she could. Frances was avid tennis pro for a long as she was able. She will be loved and miss by all that knew her.
Frances is survived by her sons; David McCord, and Tim McCord, granddaughter Nicole Wells and great granddaughter Katlin Marie Spann, one niece and two nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her spouse Bill Durkit; daughter Ronda Spann, brothers; Eddie Brummitt and Dub Brummitt.
A gathering and visitation for Frances will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, funeral service will be Friday, September 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be Friday, September 11, 2020 at 3:00 PM at West Veiw Cemetery, 1680 Westveiw Dr. SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
