Edgell W. Farmer, a resident of Kennesaw, Ga., went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on Jan. 5, 1936, in Adairsville, Ga., he spent a memorable and cherished chapter of his life in Hawaii. A devoted husband of 55 years to the love of his life, Retha, he leaves behind four children, Sherry Billings and husband Robert, Jeff Farmer and wife Bea, Russell Farmer and wife Cha and Regina Lovinggood and husband Scott. He was a grandfather to eight and great-grandfather to twelve children. A veteran, he served honorably in the United States Army. Following his service, he had a successful career at Lockheed Martin, where he retired on April 30, 1994.
