Sunday, December 26, 2021. Affectionately known as "Kirby" by
all who had the honor of knowing him was a native of Terre
Haute, Indiana. He served our country honorably in the US Air
Force and as an Aeronautical Engineer employed by Delta Air Lines.
He truly loved his job of 30 years and all of his Delta family.
Kirby never met a stranger and it wouldn't take long for him to
make those around him laugh with his jokes and stories. Saying that he was a motorcycle
enthusiast is an understatement, he was a biker. He loved mountain rides and twisty
roads on his Harley, with his favorite biker buddy riding next to him, his wife Lori.
He also loved riding with friends, camping off of his bike, and when he had the
opportunity, fly fishing. But, his favorite thing was being Pops to his 8 year granddaughter Bentleigh.
Kirby is survived by his wife, Lori Kirby; sons Mathew Barnett
(Destiny) and Dustin Epps (Kayla); his granddaughter Bentleigh
and his grandson Collier. Also surviving are many friends,
neighbors, co-workers, and his biker brothers & sisters.
A visitation for Kirby will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022 from
2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home,
2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
Kirby never wanted a funeral, so there will also be a Celebration for Kirby on Friday, January 7th at 4:30pm at Arches Brewery in Hapeville, GA. To attend, please RSVP via the fb event: https://www.facebook.com/events/223406596619256/?ref=newsfeed.
