I had the great pleasure of being hired by Mr Danny Swafford , at the Allstate Chamblee Dunwoody Claims Office in 1977.  Danny was a “great people person” , and taught me the value of taking good care of all customers.  Each Monday I would ask him what adventures he enjoyed most with his family, without disappointment he always shared a special weekend moment.  He dearly loved his “family”!   I recently moved back to Georgia & thought of him & his family, only to find this memorial.  Although late, please know that you have my continued condolences & prayers.   Sincerely, JFrancis

So sorry to hear about Danny. He and I grew up together in Anniston,Al.Played football and went fishing together all the time.He was a great friend.

Mrs. Swafford, In 1979 Danny intervened me for a position with Allstate Insurance Company. After the interview, he told me he only saw one small problem. When I asked him what that was he told me I went to the University of Georgia and he was a big Alabama fan. He recommended I be hired. I retired from Allstate on 11/13/15. I'm sorry sorry for your loss. Danny was a sweet soul and I thank him for my opportunity to have had a career and Bless my Family with the security that opportunity gave me. It was so sad to hear of Danny's passing.  He and both worked for Allstate for many years.  I always found Danny to be a kind and caring man.  God rest his soul.

Had the pleasure of working with Danny at Allstate during my years in claims. My condolences to the family during this difficult time.  

Danny and I played on the same church basketball team a long time ago.  He was instrumental in my passing geometry.  He was a friend and good person to be around.  I regret we did not share more time together as we "matured".

Heartfelt condolences to the entire Swafford family. I had the pleasure of working for Dan and he was truly a great man.  He really cared about people and showed it in many ways.

I met Danny in the 2nd Grade at Noble Street School in Anniston. We were friends almost instantly. We played and learned together for the next 11 years. I didn't see Danny often after our college days separated us, but each time I was lucky enough to see him I felt the  warmth of a lifelong friendship. 
I send my deep sympathy to Eddie, their children and their families, as well as Sylvia, Paige and Hannah - Danny loved each of you and I know he'll live in your hearts until you meet again.

RIP Danny.  We had some great times at Anniston High and at work at Lee Bros. while in school at Jax State. I remember before we each left for the service we would go out and run on our supper break. We weren't very fast but we kept each other's spirit up. I'll miss you buddy.  

I remember one time when I had driven the car to take Eddie’s parents to visit Eddie and Danny in Illinois.  Eddie, Jean, Bo and I were leaving to go shopping and Danny was sitting in the garage, in a chair, with his baseball cap on and making fly bait for that favorite thing he like to do!  Bass fishing.  I won’t ever forget that, and he always had such a great sense of humor.  He will be missed!  Prayers for the family at this time of loss! May Jesus give you peace!  I love you all.  Ann and Bill
