Born to the late Cecil and Lorene Griffin in Columbus, Georgia, Rev. Griffin was a known people person, with a talent and enthusiasm for energizing others. The effects of his quick wit, gregarious manner, and sense of humor was evident early in life as he was elected president of his Central High School class of 1965. After working for the Georgia Paper Mill, Rev. Griffin learned and served at Rhema Bible Training Center from 77 to 79. He continued to impact many lives through his ministry at Faith Christian Fellowship in Tulsa, OK and Faith Christian Fellowship in Moore, OK. He also founded and reached the world through Faith Bible Institute, Danny Griffin Ministries, and Faith Church of Kennesaw from 1987 and still active today. In addition to his eternal impact, Rev. Griffin was the founder and owner of multiple housing investment businesses still thriving today.
In his leisure time, Danny enjoyed being out in nature, hunting and fishing. He was content to spend this time with the trees and the Lord, but always welcomed the company of his family in his hobbies. Rev. Griffin was received in heaven by his daughter, Lara Griffin Webber.
