Daniel Martin Krankel

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Martin Krankel of Dallas, Georgia, on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the age of 79. Daniel was born on June 4, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Daniel graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1969 and went on to have a distinguished career as Senior VP of Underwriting and Death Claims at Primerica Financial Services.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Daniel enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and golf. He took great joy in cheering on his grandsons as they participated in various sports and activities.

Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved sister Josephine Collins, sister Sandy Bernstein, and brother James Krankel. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joan Krankel; daughters Kristin Maloney (Brian) and Danielle Rhodes (Andrew); his five grandsons, Carson, Lucas, Riley, Nolan, and Ryan; and his sister Roberta Resnick.

Daniel held various leadership positions in his church congregations and was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others in need. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at Vertical Life Church, 263 East Paulding Drive, Dallas, GA 30157 on Wednesday, November 27th at 6:30 pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 6:00 pm. Casual attire for the service.
