Cynthia Ann Chafin Mulkey, 73, passed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in her home at Dallas Georgia surrounded by her loving family. Cynthia was born in Atlanta, GA, Fulton County.
She was reunited in heaven with her treasured parents, Thaeron Al and Margaret Ann Chafin, as well as Her cherished brother Alton Joel Chafin also preceded her in death at the early age of 44.
Cynthia a proud 1968 graduate of Osborne High in Marietta GA, a retired real estate agent in Woodstock GA, along with her constant roll of keeping all of us laughing. She was a long time member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church in Kennesaw, GA where she leaves behind many brothers and sisters in Christ.
Cynthia was a loving, caring wife, Mother, grandmother and friend and she warmed everyone with her beautiful smile. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 55 years Donnie Mulkey Dallas GA, her son Jeffrey Carl (Michelle) Mulkey, her daughter Brandi Ann Mulkey True (Alex), her brother Terry Al (Ruperta Faye) Chafin of Kennesaw, GA, and sister Dale B. (Michael Timothy) Adams of Augusta, GA; Also granddaughters Nikki Busby, Alania Danielle Mulkey, Meghan Heinz and grandsons Tyler Alexander True and Savanna Ledbetter, Paige Mull, Tristan Deese; many loved great-grandchildren, cousins and inlaws.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Greers Chapel Baptist Church, 1848 Greers Chapel Rd, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Services will start immediately after at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Robert J. Therrell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greers Chapel at the above address.
