Claudell White Abney, age 85 passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Claudell retired from AT&T in 1989 after 30 years of employment as a Clerical Administrator. Claudell was very elegant and she loved shopping, traveling, raising beautiful flowers, but what she cherished the most was spending time with family.
Claudell is survived by her husband of 68 years, James O. Abney; her son Jason Abney (Leesa); her grandsons Alan Abney, Austin Abney, and Kevin Orzechowski (Heather).
A visitation for Claudell will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a Chapel Service with Pastor Jimmy Blackburn officiating. Claudell will be laid to rest in Pineridge Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are John Crenshaw, Steve Thomas, Alan Abney, Austin Abney, Kevin Orzechowski and Barry Sangster.
