Casey William Maloney

Casey William Maloney, born on September 10, 2001, was struck by a truck and killed while riding his motorcycle on February 22, 2023. Casey was a graduate of North Paulding High School and worked at Southern Powersports for almost three years.

Casey really enjoyed fixing things and loved his job and those he worked with who were like family. In his spare time, he loved to have fun with friends, fish, hunt, ride dirt bikes, ATV's and motorcycles. He was quiet and shy as a little boy, but became his own man, living his short life to the fullest and on his own terms.

He was a loving son and brother and a great friend to many. Casey's loyal K-9 companion Gracie, whom he called Yuka, is still watching and waiting for him to come home. He has left a hole in our hearts but will forever leave a light that will always burn bright.

Casey is survived by his parents, Robert "Doug" Maloney and Noelle Maloney of Acworth, GA. His two brothers, Nick Horn of Woodstock, GA and Jessey Maloney and his fiancé Aly Weitz of Acworth, GA. His beloved dog, Gracie/Yuka. His maternal grandparents Ike and Lorraine Swindal of Dover, FL. His paternal grandparents Bobby and Donna Maloney of Acworth, GA. His only remaining Great Grandmother, Laura Barfield of Kennesaw, GA. His honorary family Tim and Maddie Maxwell of Dallas, GA. His honorary grandparents J.C. and Jayne Womack of Dallas, GA. Also, many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Special thanks to Cobb County first responders and Kennestone Hospital for working tirelessly to save Casey.

We also want to thank LifeLink for coordinating the donation of his many organs. It gives us great comfort knowing Casey will live on in others. We strongly believe in organ donation.

Visitation is from 11:00am-1:00pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023, and the service is at 1:00pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, GA. A graveside service will immediately follow. Casey liked to be casual, so please wear jeans, ball caps or anything you know he would have liked.

In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated to help the family offset the expenses of this unexpected tragedy and can be made to Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
