Ann was a devoted caregiver who loved her family, and in return, was loved by all. She also loved animals and would take in and care for any stray that she found. Ann was a well-traveled woman who loved to take trips and go on cruises. Her favorite places to go were Hawaii and Alaska. She was also a God-loving woman of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Scott was known for her great southern cooking and amazing homemade biscuits. Ann was an incredible mother who will always be cherished and remembered.
Ann (Herron) Scott is preceded in death by her late husband and father of her children, Kenneth T Herron; late husband, Travis Scott; and parents, Irene and Roy Smith.
Ann is survived by her sons, Keith Herron of Kennesaw and Richard (Pat Bansky) Herron of Tennessee; daughter, Cindi (Jim) Haga of Kennesaw; brother, William Tatum; sister, Eleanor Griffin; grandchildren, Justice (Stephanie) Haga, Jesse (Karina) Haga, Blake (Mary) Herron, Luke Herron, Marc Herron; and great grandchildren, Kenneth, Genevieve, Aislinn, Robert, Aiden, Ethan, Autumn, Emmett, Aeden, and Lea.
A Funeral service to honor the life of Ann will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon to seven o’clock in the evening on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the funeral home.
