Anita Judy Bryant was born September 17, 1953, in Harriman, Tennessee. She was born in a small country town to Andy Loy Jr. and Betty Loy Hamby. Anita had six brothers and sisters that she shared life with and loved with all her heart. After finishing school, she made the best decision of her life when she said “I Do” to John Bryant.
Once married, her and John built a life in Kennesaw, Georgia. They had two daughters, Wendy, and Cindy Bryant. Anita built a twenty-seven-year career in Banking as Vice President of NBG Bank. After leaving banking, she developed a thriving career in Real Estate before retiring.
She lived the life of the all-American family until tragedy struck in 1993 and a fatal car accident took John and Cindy from Anita. Anita always said that she could not wait to see them both again. At 11:18 AM, January 6, 2022, Anita had a glad reunion day with John and Cindy. Her soul was finally not longing for what she missed so much.
Anita was preceded in death by her father, Andy Loy Jr.; husband, John Bryant; daughter, Cindy Bryant; brother, Michael Loy; stepfather Benny Hamby. She is survived by her mother, Betty Loy Hamby; daughter, Wendy Bryant Haga and son-in-law Jon; brother, Larry Loy and wife Nancy; sister, Kathy Sexton and husband Bill; sister, Sandy Hubbs; sister Gwen Easter; sister, Angela Allstun and husband Russ. Anita was surrounded by numerous nieces and nephews.
The celebration of life will be held January 15, 2022, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge in Kennesaw, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM, the service will immediately follow in the chapel and then a procession to graveside at The Grove Cemetery.
