A memorial service for James Burrow is scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, Texas with James' nephew Rev. Rocky Burrow officiating. James was born on May 11, 1943 in Ferris, Texas to parents Walter W. and Mabel Loraine (Simon) Burrow and entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2017 at the age of 74. James was Baptist by Faith and served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed camping and other outdoor activities such as, fishing, hunting, shooting guns and birdwatching. James also loved watching westerns, fast cars and being a prankster. He was a kind man and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Charles and William “Billy” Joe Burrow, sister Elsada O’Brien, daughter Vickie Burrow and a boy, girl set of twins that were stillborn.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Diane Christiansen of Dallas, daughters: Holly Burrow of Fallon, Nevada and Sandra Burrow of Fernley, Nevada, niece Brenda Canales and Eddie Howard of Balch Springs, brother Doyle Burrow of Balch Springs, sister Nita Faye Ryan of Balch Springs, brother Boyd Burrow of Mexico, Missouri, brother Mike Burrow of Belton, Texas, nieces, nephews, other family members and many more friends.
