ZAISER, WILLIAM “BILL” passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in Kelowna at the age of 95 years. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anna of 63 years, his beloved children Mary-Ann (Gerald) Bleile, Albert, Teri LaBoucan (Louis Blanc), Michael, Judy (Lawrence) Galley. Bill is also survived by his ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and his sister Pat Lattin of Whitehorse. Bill was a resident of Kelowna since 1949, and worked as a plumber/tinsmith for Bennetts, Whiteman, Tom Falman and Ed Matiota. He spent his last six years in maintenance with BC Tel before his retirement. He absolutely loved gardening and hiking Knox Mountain, calling it his playground. Bill was a knowledgeable herbalist from a great amount of research and personal experience and loved to help others with advice. We would like to thank Dr. Williams for his kind care of our father, as well as all the nurses and care aids that helped to make our fathers last days more comfortable. A service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna.
