At the age of 18 years, the family moved to Jasper, Alberta, and then in 1957 to Peachland, B.C.
She lived most of her life on Lipsett with neighbor and friend, Noel Tarrant.
Minajean loved everything outdoors: fishing, hunting, camping and gardening.
She will be remembered as a hard worker and always willing to help a friend or neighbor.
They enjoyed travel and visited friends in Norway, camped across Canada and up to Alaska.
Always community-minded and involved with the Peachland Riding Club, Peachland Seniors Center, Summerland Riding and Gun Club, and most important to her, as Office Co-Ordinator of the Peachland's Citizens Patrol.
She received many awards, and in 2003, was granted, and most proud of, the Peachland Citizen of the Year Award.
She leaves to mourn her sister Cleo Clermont, Sharon (Bill Soules), brother Terry Grey and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
Interment at the Peachland Cemetery.
