COOKE: Kenneth Tremaine . It is with a sad heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, on October 11, 2014 in Kelowna, BC. Born August 10, 1927 in Isaac’s Harbour , Nova Scotia, where he had many sister and brothers. Ken spent his early years as a Merchant Mariner before settling Vancouver, BC where he met his soon to be wife and lifelong companion of 58 years, Lilly Gertrude. Kenneth was a great father and a wonderful husband to our mother whom predeceased him on July 12, 2013 . A special thank you is extended to all Dad’s friends and neighbors at Evangel Manor, whom helped make our fathers life full of joy and happiness. Both your children, Carl and Lisa, grandchildren Jennifer, Scott and Ryan will miss both of you greatly, but we feel assured that you are together again. Peaceful and in the arms of Love again.
