With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Harold (Harry) Klassen, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, son, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Harry passed away at home peacefully with his wife and family members by his side on December 30, 2022. He was 82 years old.
He was born in Morris, Manitoba to Peter and Anne Klassen. He was the youngest brother to Abe, Elsie, Edna, Gerry and Andy, (all predeceased) and the older brother to his sister Sharon.
In 1961 Harry met Mary Bergen and shortly after they were married. In that following year they moved back to Kelowna with their new born son David.
Those early years were hard, but Harry managed alongside his wife to raise a family of five, now including Wayne and Gary. He would become a master mechanic after 30 + years and worked with companies like Kelowna motors, Chapmans and Motorways.

Together they RV’ed around the US and Canada, spending their time with their Arizona friends, engaging in many social activities. Together, they were active and engaging contributors to their large blended family, and were huge fans and supporters of their grandchildren’s endeavours.
