Edith Ruth Kempf

Edith went to be with our Lord on December 15, 2023 at the Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 88. Edith is survived by her sister Elfriede; children Monika, Meinhard (Evy), Bernhard, Angela (Kevin); grandchildren Christine (David), Connie (Matthew), Galen (Chelsea), Jared, Alexander, Stephanie (Adam), Derek, Jeffrey, Jenna; great-grandchildren Ryan, Brooke, Mark, Trayton, Madison, Kaden, Keira, Keaton, Jensen, Mackenzie, Grace, Scott. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Kempf, parents Paul, Lydia Kautz, siblings Anna, Peter, Irma, Harmel, Julius Kautz.

Edith’s hands were always busy with knitting socks, baking delicious tortes and entertaining family and friends. She was generous and loved her family above all. Edith will be missed by many who will treasure her always.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am December 21, 2023 at First Lutheran Church, 4091 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna with Pastor Keith Reisdorf officiating. Interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:45 – 1:00 pm.
