VIENS: Don M. of Kelowna, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the Kelowna General Hospital on August 17th, 2019 at the age of 77 years. Don is survived by his four children: Linda Viens, Brenda Viens, Ric (Deb) Viens and Danielle (Cam) Langton; five grandchildren Marcus Viens, Monique and husband Max French, Tristan Meldrum, Carter and Lacey Langton. He is also survived by his siblings Terry, Marcel, Andy, Huguette, Danielle, and Diane. Predeceased by his parents Roland and Lucille and sister’s Joyce and Rajeanne. Don valued all the friendships he made throughout his hockey career and many will remember him for the great memories shared. He also made many long lasting friendships from his three heavy duty parts businesses in BC and AB including Central Valley Truck Service that is now owned and operated by his son Ric. Don will be remembered and missed by everyone whose life he touched. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held in his hometown Falher, AB, the spring of 2020.
